Meet Rebecca. Dutch-Nepali by blood, her skills are a result of a fusion of all the experiences and places she has been taken to. Known mostly for her merge of meticulous traditional hand-drawing and surreal digital photography, she upholds the high quality standard of the Paper Boat Creative in delivering only the best.
She was previously the youngest of only four Senior Art Directors of Getty Images London, managing Europe’s top commercial photographers, for the most prestigious award winning collections of Stone / Stone + and Photonica. Her work has been featured on Wired Magazine, Campaign UK, Creative Arts magazine and has won several commercial photography awards. She’s known for her quirky and playful ideas, and it seems her positive approach to creating art, and teaching it to others, is magnetic.
Her Photography has been published by many of the largest advertising agencies such as Mother,AKQA and BBDO London, and has been displayed on TV in channels such as CNBC, ABC and CNN.
Her works have been published on a number magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, and books such like Sister Citizen written by Harris-Perry Perry, presented to Michelle Obama in the White House.
As a Creative consultant, she has produced powerful campaigns and design material for large firms in London such as the Refugee Council, British Council and European Youth Forum, where her branding design and animation work decorated the halls of the European Parliament in Brussels.
Our Team
Rebecca currently leads a team of hand-picked photo retouchers and designers to craft out beautiful images. Mentoring is a creative challenge in itself, but being able to pull out the best of each person’s unique talents, and see how it fits in within the story of a larger project is incredibly rewarding.
The greatest projects are done as a team, so the dream gets bigger.
